Vocal Placement Auditions
Interested singers must schedule an individual or group vocal placement audition where the artistic director gets to know each singer’s vocal ability in terms of range, tone quality, and sight-singing. This brief audition helps the director get to know each singer and place them in the correct section of the choir.
Vocal placement auditions are currently being scheduled for Thursday, June 14th starting at 5:45 pm and Saturday, June 16th starting at 9:00 am. Individual audition appointments are 5 minutes long. If you'd rather audition in a group (with your friends), just multiply the number of singers by 5 to know how long your group audition will be (for example, 5 singers = 25 minutes).
To schedule your slot, simply email us at info@dcalfine.com. In your email, please include your preferred audition date (June 14th or 16th), your first and last name, gender, and grade level for the 2012-2013 school year. If scheduling a group audition, please include the names, genders, and grade levels of everyone in your group. More audition slots will be available in the early fall if you can't audition in June.
